Stories on a Wall, Sletteløkka, Norway, 2023

A facade painting for the grendehus (community house) at Sletteløkka telling a story of the area through the eyes of 39 youths.

The project was a collaboration with the school of Rødtvet and Apaløkka where 39 youths aged 11–16 participated in a workshop to design the facade of the new Community House in Sletteløkka. They explored personal stories, narratives, experiences, and interpretations  about their own neighbourhood and how they could express this through symbols. Translating ideas and stories into symbols allows one to tell the story of a place in a completely different way.
